Langlade County is a Snowmobile Friendly Community. Excellent trail system. Well maintained. The trail system offers many different riding styles. Weather your a long distance snowmobiler and want to put lot's of miles on in a day. Call Antigo your home base. If your out for a short enjoyable ride. Take the Antigo Loop. Snowmobile trail circles the City of Antigo. If you want to take a couples or family day trip. Hop on your snowmobile and head for one of the neighboring towns. Excellent trial system leading you to such destinations as Polar, Deerbrook, Aniwa, Mattoon, Birnamwood, Neva just to name a few. One of the few snowmobile trail systems in Wisconsin that offers such a diversification and catering to many different riding styles. Weather you want to stretch your leg's on your snowmobile there's the Antigo Flats. Several miles of straight, excellent visibility. Coming off the Antigo Flats you will encounter woods running. Time to slow down and relax. Beautiful winding trails. Plenty of wild life for your viewing. There is some lake crossing. Which is well marked and safe to travel on. Just as long as you stay on the well marked lake crossing trail system.
Langlade County welcomes snowmobiles with open arms. Weather you have the most up-to-date state of the art snowmobile or a older few year old snowmobile and even vintage sleds. They all coexist. Which is very unusual, versus other trail systems. On the trail help. We have all been there. Break downs, directions and even getting lost. You will find Langlade Snowmobilers are helpful and will stop in a time of need. Special Note: if this occurs just pull over to the side of the trail and lift up your snowmobile hood. Guaranteed the next snowmobiler will stop.
Picture above is behind Swartzendrubers Supper Club. At sundown the view is breathtaking looking over the Antigo Flats. Its a experience everyone should take in. One of the wonders of Langlade County. Speaking of Swartzendrubers. Even tho there a Supper Club. The feeder tail will take you to there back door. Most Supper Clubs will frown on Snowmobilers walking in. NOT Swartznedrubers. They welcome snowmobiles with open arms. In the back room there is a changing location. If you want to get out of your snowmobile gear, they are more then accommodating. Looking for a end of day cocktail, excellent selection and made to perfection. There food is outstanding. They offer a full dinner menu and there known for there selection of steaks to choose from. Areas BEST salad bar. If your not a steak eater then ask about there seafood selection this is another selection you can't go wrong on. You can not go wrong with Swartzendrubers. I have NEVER had a bad or disappointing meal. Once again they do cater to the snowmobiler. Being a Supper Club you would think they want to push the stake and seafood dinners. If a burger is what your looking for. NO Problem, some of the best burgers in the area. One last common about Swartzendrubers, their prices are unbelievable for being a Supper Club.
Another got to stop is Not Bobs Bar. Located on the Antigo Loop Snowmobile trail. Easy on and easy off location. Once again Not Bobs welcomes snowmobilers with open arms. Location set aside for snowmobile gear. The snowmobile talking atmosphere is hilarious. Listening to the snowmobilers days events. Excellent selection of beer and soda. Try there Not Bobs pizza. Made to perfection.
